This thesis examines how fintech ventures are reshaping financial services through new technologies and strategic choices tailored to different markets. It first looks at key innovations: digital payments, digital wealth management, and open banking, and how they have transformed everyday financial activities. The research then compares how fintech companies operate in the US and India by analyzing how market conditions, government initiatives, regulations, and consumer behaviors shape adoption. Finally, through case studies of Robinhood (US), Revolut (Global), and Paytm (India), the thesis examines how fintech firms navigate the choice between competing with traditional players and collaborating with them to scale under different market scenarios. Together, these insights aim to help entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers understand how strategy and technology come together in the fintech industry.
