Highlights of this Course

This course features a complete set of lecture notes and assignments, along with other materials used by students in the course.

Course Description

5.74 explores time-dependent quantum mechanics and spectroscopy. Topics covered include: perturbation theory, two-level systems, light-matter interactions, relaxation in quantum systems, correlation functions and linear response theory, and nonlinear spectroscopy.

The instructor would like to acknowledge Anne Hudson for assisting in preparation of the 5.74 notes.
