dc.description.abstract"Multiple entry is now the norm for U.S. international air transportation, except in cases in which the bilateral aviation relations between the United States and the foreign country concerned call for a different approach. This basic policy is founded on broad economic considerations which have been thoroughly evaluated in Congress and in the Board's adjudicatory processes. It was recently given explicit Congressional sanction by the International Air Transportation Competition Act. Objectors to multiple entry now have a heavy burden of proof to show that application of the policy would be inconsistent with the public convenience and necessity"--p. [1].en_US
