Abstract
This report, No. 113 in a series of quarterly progress reports issued by the Research Laboratory of Electronics, reviews some of the research activities of the Laboratory for the three-month period ending February 28, 1974. It also includes several detailed reports held over from the previous quarter. With deep sorrow, we report the unexpected death on March 10, 1974, of Samuel J. Mason, Professor of Electrical Engineering. Professor Mason was a staff member of RLE since 1947, and served as Associate Director of the Laboratory since 1967.
